Barcelona City Council has hosted the presentation of the event with the presence of Josep Maria Casanovas as representative of the organizing company, Seven Marketing, and the President of the Organizing Committee of the Snowboard World Championships, the board member and president of the FIS Royal Spanish Federation of Winter Sports, Eduardo Roldan, the first deputy mayor of Barcelona City Council, Carles Martí, the General Director of Tourism of the Catalan government, Joan Vilalta; and the President of the Railways of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Joan Torras.
To build the ramp 400 tons of iron will be moved for six days of assembly and there will be an open space with brand presence, tourism associations, specialized shops and resorts.
Barcelona Snow Show includes, besides the ‘Big Air’ snowboarding FIS competition, a parallel event for ‘freestyle’ skiers, and will assure the presence of the best riders since the Winter Olympics, which will be held in Vancouver will take place next February and riders need good scores to accede such event.
